Customs Brokerage
CCA offers in-house customs brokerage facilitates by preparing your export customs documents (C-82) for both Air & Ocean Export. We also contract brokers for import shipments, enabling customers to request shipments on a DDU or DDP basis. (Door to Door Service). For further information email: customerservice@cargotrinidad.com
Insurance
CCA offers 'All Risk' Marine Insurance for both air and ocean freight shipments. 'All Risk' insurance protects shippers against physical loss or damage to cargo from external causes, subject to policy terms and conditions. Note: The carrier's liability is normally to a fixed value, which is usually considerably less than the value of your cargo.
Our insurance coverage, eliminates the hassle of trying to claim directly from the airlines or ocean carriers which can be time consuming and burdensome. A formal claim must include:
- A cover letter stating that you are submitting a formal claim
- A copy of the Air Waybill or Bill of Lading
- A copy of the insurance certificate
- The invoice for the entire shipment indicating the items involved in the claim
- A detailed breakdown of the claimed amount
- Warehouse delivery receipt
- Contact details
- Photographs if available
- Surveyor's report (if required)
- Any other relevant documents

Dangerous Goods Handling
The CCA Air & Ocean export teams are fully qualified in IATA & IMDG Dangerous goods handling. Please note we do not handle Radioactive and Infectious substances. For air freight shipments contact our Piarco office: airexport@cargotrinidad.com
Crating, Packaging and Warehousing
Stuffing/Unstuffing of Full Container Loads
CCA can facilitate all your loading and un-loading of your full containers at our Point Lisas facility. Arrangements must be made in advance so we can accommodate your request. For further information email: oceanexport@cargotrinidad.com
Transshipments
CCA's Point Lisas warehouse is a bonded customs facility. As such you can use our warehouse as a transshipment point for your cargo for further distribution to the rest of the Caribbean. For further information email: oceanexport@cargotrinidad.com
